General Terms and Conditions of Sale 2025
Reservations are strictly personal and may not be transferred to another person under any circumstances, unless prior agreement has been obtained from the campsite. Guests are required to comply with the campsite rules and regulations and to ensure that all persons staying with them or visiting them do the same. Guests must have civil liability insurance covering camping and rental activities.
Le Château des Tilleuls cannot be held responsible for any loss of property, injury or damage that may occur to holidaymakers or their property during their stay.
In the event of non-compliance or serious misconduct, the campsite cannot be held responsible for any consequences beyond its control.
Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian. Château des Tilleuls reserves the right to cancel the booking or refuse access to the campsite if it finds that the pitch or accommodation booked is intended to accommodate unaccompanied minors or that the persons present are not those declared in the contract.
Early departure, late arrival or cancellation will not give rise to any refund by the campsite itself and payments will be retained as compensation.
Pitches:
Transit pitches are rented from 2.30 p.m. to 12 noon. Departure after 12 noon will result in the payment of an additional day.
The pitch takes into account the customer's preferences as much as possible. These preferences must be specified at the time of booking but cannot be guaranteed or demanded under any circumstances. Dogs are allowed provided they are kept on a leash, their faeces are collected, and they are not allowed to roam freely on the pitches or in the playground. They are not allowed in the swimming pool area, the playground, the multi-sports grounds, the pétanque court or the sanitary facilities.
The maximum capacity of a pitch is 6 people.
No more than this number of people will be accepted.
A deposit will be required for the rental of a VIP pitch with private sanitary facilities (individual and private sanitary facilities on the pitch, equipped with a shower, washbasin, toilet, sink and top box refrigerator). Use is exclusively reserved for the persons indicated on the pitch occupancy form.

Check-in by appointment from 3pm. Check-out: keys must be returned to reception by 11am at the latest. The following services are included in the stay: bed(s) made on arrival, towels and breakfast.
Mobile home - Bivouac - Coco Sweet - Minihome Tithome:
Per night or short stays: accommodation is rented from 3 p.m. to 11 a.m.
Mobile home - Cottage: Sheets are provided for the number of people indicated in the contract. You must bring your own household and bathroom linen (rental available - comfort pack with beds made on arrival).
Coco Sweet: Blankets and pillows provided, disposable sheets available.
Household linen and towels must be provided (rental available – comfort pack with beds made on arrival).
Minihome/Tithome: Pillows and duvets provided, disposable sheets available. Household linen and towels must be provided (rental available – comfort pack with beds made on arrival).
Bivouacs: Mattresses and bed bases included, bring your own bedding: sheets, sleeping bags, blankets and pillows are not provided but can be hired
Weekly or long stays: accommodation is rented from 3pm to 10am, depending on the inventory appointment.
Sheets are available but towels and household linen are not provided.
Available for rent. During the high season in July and August, weekly rentals are primarily from Saturday to Saturday.
Mobile home – cottage: Pillows and duvets provided, double bed 140 x 190 cm or 160 x 200 cm in the Prestige models, single beds 80 x 190 cm.
Parents of young children must take care to protect the mattresses. In the event of damage exceeding the amount of the deposit, the tenant agrees to pay the full amount upon presentation of proof.
The rental price includes: accommodation rental, utilities (water, gas, electricity up to a limit of 150 kW in summer or 250 kW in winter per week), access to services, facilities, entertainment (according to the programme) and the swimming pool during opening dates for persons named on the contract.
No excess of the number of persons will be accepted (the maximum number of persons corresponds to the number of persons (children and babies included) indicated on the type of accommodation, i.e. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 8 persons). Smoking is prohibited inside the accommodation.
The campsite reserves the right to cancel the stay and refuse access to the campsite and accommodation if the number of persons is not respected. Please note that no changes to the occupants are possible during the stay.
Tents are not permitted on rental pitches next to accommodation.
Any overstay will result in an additional day being charged.
Late arrival: arrivals are during reception hours and no later than 7pm. If the expected arrival time is late, the customer must notify Château des Tilleuls by any means no later than the day before.
For arrivals after 8 p.m., an additional charge of €10 may be applied.
Please note that no arrivals will be accepted after 9 p.m.
Reservations: A reservation request is not considered final until it has been confirmed by the reservations department. It will only become effective after acceptance and confirmation of payment of the deposit for the stay (confirmation sent by email or post within 3 working days). The booking will then become final.
Balance of stays
The balance for rentals and pitches must be paid in full 30 days before your arrival. If you book less than 30 days before your arrival, the stay must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Late payment will result in the cancellation of the booking and the retention of the deposit as compensation for breach of contract.
In accordance with Article L 121-20-4 of the Consumer Code, the internet user is informed that no right of withdrawal applies to the services offered on the websites www.chateaudestilleuls.com, www.cabanebaiedesomme.com or www.locations-insolites.com, and any other partner website offering bookings for stays at the Château des Tilleuls campsite.

However, we strongly advise you to take out the cancellation insurance offered to you. If the rental is not occupied by the customer within 24 hours of the scheduled date and the delay has not been reported, the campsite will dispose of the rental or pitch and the stay will be automatically cancelled as a no-show, without any compensation. If the customer has not arrived on the day mentioned in the rental contract for overnight stays, after a period of 2 hours after the reception has closed, without notification, the contract is considered terminated and the sums paid remain the property of Château des Tilleuls, which may dispose of the accommodation.
Cancellation: Le Château des Tilleuls offers cancellation insurance, the terms and conditions of which can be found on our website or upon request (Neat Camping cancellation insurance (optional) guarantees a refund for your stay in the event of unforeseen circumstances before your arrival, and also covers you in the event of interruption of your stay, replacement vehicle, veterinary costs, etc. Flexible cancellation: Cancel your stay with or without proof, we understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise at any time.

Cancellation/postponement fees more than 30 days before the date of the stay (excluding cancellation insurance): 20% of the stay will be automatically charged as compensation for postponement or cancellation of the stay.
Cancellation before the customer's arrival by Château des Tilleuls: Château des Tilleuls reserves the right to cancel the stay in the event of force majeure, technical reasons or inability to guarantee good conditions for the stay. In this case, you will be offered a postponement or refund of the stay (excluding booking fees and cancellation insurance). No compensation may be claimed.
Cancellation before the guest's arrival due to the guest's decision without cancellation insurance:
• More than 30 days before the arrival date, cancellation or postponement fees will be retained as compensation for breach of contract.
• Between 30 and 15 days before the arrival date, 50% of the stay will be retained as compensation for breach of contract.
• 15 days or less before the arrival date, no refund will be given and the sums paid will be retained as compensation.
Cancellation before the customer's arrival due to the customer with cancellation insurance: Declaration to the cancellation insurance company and coverage by the cancellation insurance according to the conditions
Cancellation upon the customer's arrival due to Château des Tilleuls: Château des Tilleuls reserves the right to cancel the stay in the event that weather conditions (wind, alerts, etc.) or technical conditions do not allow access and the stay to take place safely and in good conditions. In this case, the customer may be re-accommodated in available accommodation and a postponement of the stay may be offered, less the amount allocated to re-accommodation (subject to availability). No compensation may be claimed.
If the customer does not wish to be re-accommodated, they must arrange their own accommodation and will be offered a postponement of their stay (subject to availability) without any compensation being granted. It should be noted that postponement of the stay will only be offered if the service has not been provided, i.e. the customer has not taken possession of the accommodation.
In other cases, the conditions for postponement will be examined on a case-by-case basis. In the event of bad weather during the rental period requiring evacuation, the customer will be notified so that alternative accommodation can be found, subject to availability. In this case, the customer will be entitled to a second night at half price, in accordance with the schedule, within the current 12-month period.
Le Château des Tilleuls also reserves the right to refuse access to the accommodation to any customer who is under the influence of narcotics, medication, drugs or alcohol that may impair their alertness or alter their behaviour, and contravene the site's internal regulations. In this case, the customer will not be entitled to accommodation, postponement or any compensation.
Cancellation upon arrival by the customer: If, upon arrival, the customer refuses to enter the accommodation or pitch for any reason whatsoever, they may be re-accommodated at their own expense in any accommodation or pitch that may be available.
If this solution is not suitable, an alternative accommodation solution may be offered, but the costs of the stay will be borne by the customer. No compensation, refund or postponement may be requested.
Cleaning: Cleaning is the responsibility of the tenant. At the end of the stay, the rental or pitch must be returned in a perfectly clean condition, both inside and in the immediate surroundings. Otherwise, for rentals, the cleaning deposit (see deposit) will be cashed.
Instructions: The customer/tenant must comply with all the rules and regulations of the campsite and must ensure that all persons residing with them or visiting them, under their responsibility, comply with them.
Deposit: This is payable by credit card or cheque. It may be cashed in the event of a breach of the internal rules and/or breakage or damage. A deposit of €200 per night and a cleaning deposit of €50 to €100 depending on the type of accommodation + €200 deposit for weekly stays. These deposits are not cashed and will be returned or cancelled within 48 hours of your departure, after an inventory has been carried out, minus any missing items or damage, and if your rental is ready to be re-let immediately (final cleaning carried out). In the event of damage exceeding the amount of the deposit, the tenant undertakes to pay the full amount upon presentation of proof. If the accommodation is not returned in a perfectly clean condition, the deposit will be automatically cashed.
Visitors: Visitors are allowed from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. but do not have access to the campsite facilities (play areas, pétanque courts, multisport facilities, swimming pool, etc.). They must be registered at reception upon arrival.
Disputes: In the event of a dispute and after contacting the establishment's customer service department, any campsite customer may refer the matter to a consumer ombudsman within a maximum period of one year from the date of the written complaint, sent by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, to the operator.

Payment: cash, bank cheques (more than 30 days before arrival), CCP, holiday vouchers (ANCV only by registered or tracked letter), Connect holiday vouchers, made payable to Château des Tilleuls.
Accreditation: Château des Tilleuls is VACAF accredited and classified as a 3* leisure facility.
Image rights: You expressly authorise Château des Tilleuls, without compensation, to use photos of you or your children that may be taken during your stay for the campsite's advertising purposes. If you do not wish your image or that of your children to be used, you must submit a written statement to reception no later than the day of your arrival.
