Terracamps and the customer agree that these general terms and conditions exclusively govern their relationship. Terracamps reserves the right to modify its terms and conditions from time to time. The updated terms will apply as soon as they are published online.

Pricing of Services
1- Stay on a Pitch
Terracamps provides the customer with a bare pitch intended to accommodate a tent, and/or a caravan, and/or a motorhome, and car, for a maximum of six people, unless otherwise specified for certain pitches with a different capacity.
Several types of pitches are offered depending on the campsite, and their descriptions are available on the website.
The pitch price corresponds to a flat rate per night, depending on the type chosen. The basic package includes one installation, one or two people, and one vehicle (car or motorcycle). The “comfort” package additionally includes an electrical connection (power varies depending on the campsite).
Any additional person (adult or child) or any extra equipment placed on the pitch (such as a trailer, a motorcycle, a boat, a tent or multiple tents, an extra canopy, an awning, etc.) will incur an additional daily charge.
The basic package also provides free access to sanitary facilities, reception, swimming pool (depending on campsite, dates, and opening hours), playgrounds, and the activities offered, whether free or paid.
For safety reasons, the number of people on the pitch cannot exceed its maximum capacity, and the campsite reserves the right to refuse access to anyone exceeding this limit.
2- Stay in Rental Accommodation
The descriptions, minimum rental durations, and rates of accommodations offered by Terracamps vary according to the season.
This information can be consulted on the website by entering the desired stay dates and destination. The rental price includes accommodation for a number of people according to the indicated capacity, utilities (water, gas), one vehicle, and access to reception services, swimming pool (depending on campsite, dates, and opening hours), playgrounds, other facilities, and activities offered, whether free or paid.
For safety reasons, the number of people staying in the accommodation must never exceed its maximum capacity. The campsite reserves the right to refuse access to anyone exceeding this limit. Rental accommodations are fully equipped and must be returned in good condition and clean at the end of the stay. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the accommodations.
Terracamps charges for electricity in rental accommodations. Depending on the facility, these may be billed either based on actual consumption (at the current kWh price – e.g., €0.20/kWh as of January 1, 2025, subject to annual adjustment) or as a flat rate (see the pricing brochure).
3- Arrivals and Departures on Pitches
Customer check-in at reception upon arrival is mandatory.
It constitutes proof of the start of the stay and conditions access to the campsite’s facilities and services. Pitches are available from 2:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and must be vacated before 12:00 p.m. on the day of departure.
In case of late arrival, the client must inform the campsite before 7:00 PM. To maintain the peace and quiet of the site, setting up on the pitches and vehicle access are no longer allowed after 10:00 PM, unless prior agreement has been obtained from the campsite.
4- Arrivals and Departures in Rental Accommodations
Customer check-in at reception upon arrival is mandatory.
It constitutes proof of the start of the stay and conditions access to the campsite’s facilities and services. Rental accommodations are accessible from 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure by appointment.
In case of late arrival, the client must inform the campsite before 7:00 PM. To maintain the peace and quiet of the site, setting up on the pitches and vehicle access are no longer allowed after 10:00 PM, unless prior agreement has been obtained from the campsite.
5- Transfer of sublietting
All rentals are personal and cannot under any circumstances be transferred or sublet.
6- Price changes
Prices applied by Terracamps are dynamic and may change during the season. Consequently, no claim can be made regarding any difference in price between two stays booked for similar dates.
Prices are quoted in euros, all taxes included (TTC), based on the VAT rate in effect at the time of booking. The total price of the stay includes the pitch or accommodation rental, any selected additional services, service fees, and, if applicable, cancellation insurance.
This total amount is provided to the customer before final confirmation of the booking, whether made online or through any other booking channel.
Any change in VAT or applicable taxes between booking and billing may result in a revision of the stay price.
7- Promotions
Promotional offers provided by Terracamps are subject to specific conditions, notably availability.
Unless otherwise indicated, discounts and promotions cannot be combined or applied retroactively. Consequently, for the same type of stay, different customers may pay different rates depending on the booking date or current offer. Customers who paid a higher rate cannot claim any reimbursement of the difference between the amount paid and a later promotional rate.
8- Tourist tax
The tourist tax, collected on behalf of the municipalities, is not included in the listed rates. It must be paid separately by the client. Its amount, calculated per person per night, varies depending on the destination and may be subject to changes during the year (according to municipal decisions).
9- Service fees
Terracamps applies a service fee of €2 for all stays of 1 to 6 nights on pitches and in rental accommodations.
Service fees are non-refundable.
Bookings and Payment
1. Bookings
The customer can make a booking online, by phone, or by mail, based on the presentation of pitches, accommodations, and services offered on the website www.terracamps.com. Any booking must be accompanied by an initial payment, which includes:
· A deposit, the amount of which varies depending on the type of stay booked, the selected rate, and the booking date. This deposit represents between 30% and 100% of the total stay price (accommodation only or with additional services).
· Service fees, as well as the subscription fees for cancellation/interruption insurance, if chosen.
Regardless of the booking method, the reservation only becomes effective after:
1. Receipt of the amount due (deposit, any applicable fees, insurance);
2. Receipt of the booking contract;
3. Sending of a written confirmation by Terracamps, transmitted by email (or by postal mail upon request).
This confirmation includes a detailed summary of the stay booked by the customer.
For any booking made on the website, the customer must:
· Read and accept these General Terms and Conditions by clicking in the indicated area;
· Validate the payment for the order to be considered final.
An email confirmation will then be sent to the customer, summarizing the booking details (services, dates, duration, price, and payment terms).
2. Balance payment
In addition to the deposit paid at the time of booking, the balance of the stay price (whether for a pitch or rental accommodation) must be paid within the following deadlines, depending on the selected rate:
· CLASSIC Rates:
The balance is due no later than 30 days before the start of the stay.
For any booking made less than 30 days before arrival, full payment of the stay is required immediately.
Failure to pay within the above deadlines will result in the stay being considered canceled by the customer, and the cancellation fees specified in the “Cancellation of Stay” section will apply. For stays booked under a non-refundable and non-modifiable rate, no refund will be issued, in accordance with the “Non-Refundable and Non-Modifiable Stays” section.
For bookings made via the website, if the deposit is paid online, the balance will be automatically charged on the due date using the same payment method, unless the customer chooses, at the time of deposit payment, to pay the balance manually.
3. Payment Methods
When making a reservation on the website or through the central reservation office, the payment of the deposit or the full amount of the stay is made online, using the available payment methods, which may vary depending on the country or browsing language. Available options include, in particular: credit/debit cards, iDEAL, ANCV (paper or connect), Bancontact. Payment can also be made via a secure link sent by the central reservation office or directly by the campsite.
The transaction is immediately debited after verification of the banking details. By providing their bank details, the customer expressly authorizes Terracamps to collect the amounts due (deposit or full stay). The customer also confirms that they are the cardholder and that the name on the card is their own.
For bookings made by mail, the deposit or balance can be paid by:
· Euro cheque, sent by registered or tracked mail, only up to 30 days before the arrival date;
· ANCV holiday vouchers (paper), sent by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt.
Mail bookings must be addressed to:
Terracamps – Reservation Service – 13 Rue des Docks, 58000 Nevers, France.
Cheques are no longer accepted for mail bookings made less than 30 days before the arrival date.
The balance of the stay can be paid:
· Online, via the payment link in the balance payment email;
· Directly at the campsite concerned, or through the reservation center.
Other accepted payment methods are:
· ANCV holiday vouchers (paper) (sent by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt);
· Cash in euros, only for on-site payment at campsites;
· Euro cheque, sent to the reservation service address up to 30 days before arrival.
Important: cheques are not accepted on-site at the campsites as a payment method at the time of arrival.
4. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article L. 221‑28, 12° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to services related to accommodation, transport, catering, or leisure activities that must be provided on a specific date or within a specified period. Therefore, any booking made with Terracamps falls under this exemption and is not subject to the right of withdrawal.
Management and Conditions of Stays
1- Security Deposit
Upon arrival, a security deposit of €350 is required. This deposit may be provided in cash or via a bank card pre-authorization, without immediate debit from the customer’s account. This pre-authorization is retained for a maximum of one month from the end date of the stay.
In the event that the customer owes any amounts to the campsite, Terracamps reserves the right to debit, from this security deposit, all or part of the following amounts:
· Cleaning fees if the accommodation is not cleaned by the client upon departure (minimum €70 – maximum €100);
· Damage or deterioration to the rental caused by the client (charged based on actual costs, according to the estimate presented to the client);
· Outstanding amounts for accommodation or additional services consumed on-site and not settled at departure.
A detailed invoice will be issued in the event of any debit for cleaning fees or damages to the accommodation.
2- Modification of Stay
a. Modification at the Customer’s Request
Any change regarding the stay dates, destination, or type of accommodation is considered a modification of the stay.
If the price of the new stay is higher than the originally booked stay, the customer must pay the difference. Conversely, if the price is lower, no refund will be issued.
The possibility of modifying a stay depends on the rate chosen at the time of booking, according to the specific conditions indicated on the website:
· For bookings at the “Classic” rate: modifications are possible up to 30 days before arrival.
Any request for modification (dates, accommodation, services, etc.) must be sent by mail or email and received before the applicable deadline according to the chosen rate. Terracamps will endeavor to accommodate such requests, subject to availability at the relevant campsite.
From the second modification onward, a fee of €8 including taxes will apply. Each subsequent modification will incur the same fee.
b. Modification at Terracamps’ Initiative
If Terracamps is obliged to modify the initially planned services for a stay, every effort will be made to offer services of equivalent or higher quality. The customer may then choose to:
· Accept the proposed modification; or
· Terminate the contract and obtain a full refund of amounts paid, in accordance with Article L. 214‑1 of the French Consumer Code.
3- Late Arrival and Early Departure
If the customer does not provide written notice (by any means of communication) of a late arrival, the reserved pitch or accommodation will be considered released 24 hours after the scheduled arrival date. In such cases, the accommodation or pitch may be reassigned, and the customer cannot claim any refund. The full payment for the initially booked stay remains due in its entirety.
No rate reduction will be granted in the event of early departure, whether for a rental accommodation or a pitch. Only the provisions of the cancellation insurance, if subscribed, may allow a partial refund (see specific insurance conditions).
4- Cancellation of Stay
a. Cancellation by Terracamps (excluding force majeure)
If Terracamps is forced to cancel the stay before the customer departs from their residence, all amounts paid will be fully refunded after official notification of cancellation by email or registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt, in accordance with Article L. 214‑1 of the French Consumer Code.
In the event of cancellation after the customer has departed from home, Terracamps will offer a replacement stay of equivalent value. If this new stay results in a price increase, it will be covered by Terracamps.
b. Cancellation by the Customer
The terms of cancellation depend on the option chosen at the time of booking.
Failure to cancel according to these procedures will result in the customer remaining liable for the full amount of the stay.
Service fees and any subscribed insurance options are non-refundable, regardless of the cancellation date.
Pre-booked additional services (activities, equipment, or services) not used by the customer during their stay will not be refunded.
5- Cancellation Insurance
The costs of cancellation or interruption of the stay may be covered by the cancellation insurance offered by Meetch (CMAM Group), the partner designated by Terracamps.

Rules and Comfort During the Stay
1. Pets
Pets are welcome free of charge at Terracamps campsites, with a maximum of 2 per pitch or rental accommodation. Information regarding pets must be provided at the time of booking.
Their admission is subject to presenting identification (tattoo or microchip) and valid rabies vaccination, as evidenced by the pet’s health record.
The client agrees to comply with the site’s internal rules regarding pets: dogs must be kept on a leash within the campsite, and outdoor areas should be used for the pet’s needs, or waste must be collected using the bags provided.
Dangerous or aggressive animals and Category 1 dogs are not allowed. Category 2 dogs are accepted only with prior agreement from the campsite and must be muzzled and kept on a leash.
We reserve the right to cancel any booking that does not comply with these conditions.
2- Allocation of pitches and Rental accomodations
The allocation of pitches or rental accommodations is made in order of booking, without any particular distinction.
Except in cases where the “choice of pitch / choice of accommodation” option has been selected during booking — offered subject to availability — Terracamps cannot guarantee the allocation of a specific pitch or rental unit requested by the guest.
In the event of force majeure, Terracamps reserves the right to modify this allocation.
For pitches, allocation is automatically based on the type of equipment specified by the guest during booking (small, medium, or large tent; van; folding caravan; motorhome or caravan under 6.5 m or between 6.5 and 7.5 m).
Terracamps cannot be held responsible if an unsuitable pitch is allocated due to incorrect information provided by the guest. Furthermore, only one additional camping equipment is allowed per pitch, such as a small tent for 1 person, a gazebo, or a kitchen tent.
3- Cleaning
The client is required to return the rental accommodation in a perfectly clean condition. If desired, the client may opt for an end-of-stay cleaning service, subject to payment of a specific fee to be settled on site. This service is subject to prior agreement with the campsite, depending on availability. The corresponding rates can be found on the website.
4- House rules
To ensure a pleasant stay for all guests, a set of house rules is available at the reception of each site. Guests are asked to read and comply with these rules.
Any dissatisfaction regarding the cleanliness or overall condition of the rental accommodation or pitch must be reported within 24 hours of arrival to allow for corrective action. Claims made after this period will not be accepted.
In cases of serious non-compliance with the rules, the Site Manager reserves the right to take necessary measures, which may include contract termination and eviction in the event of verbal or physical violence.
Guests are reminded that quiet hours must be observed from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m

These General Terms and Conditions are subject to French law, without prejudice to mandatory provisions from which the parties cannot derogate.
General Terms and Sale – Professional Clients
Preamble
These specific terms and conditions of sale (hereinafter “STCS”) aim to complement and, where applicable, derogate from the Terracamps General Terms and Conditions of Sale (“GTCS”), which the client acknowledges having read and accepted. The STCS take precedence over the GTCS when addressing the specificities of products or commercial conditions applicable to clients acting in a professional capacity.
A “professional client” is defined as any natural or legal person acting within the scope of their commercial, artisanal, industrial, liberal, or agricultural activity, including when acting on behalf of or for another professional.
The professional client is responsible for any damage caused by goods under their custody. They also commit to ensuring compliance with contractual obligations by members of the group for whom they make the reservation, for which they assume full responsibility, in accordance with Articles 1242 et seq. of the French Civil Code.
Prices and Invoicing
Upon request, Terracamps will provide a detailed quotation. Prices indicated in the quotation are guaranteed for a period of 20 days from the date of issue.
A consolidated invoice will be issued and sent to the professional client at the billing address previously confirmed with our reservation center or the relevant campsite.
Any late payment will automatically incur penalties calculated at three (3) times the legal interest rate in effect on the due date. In case of non-payment, a fixed recovery fee of €40 (in accordance with Article L.441-10 of the French Commercial Code) will also be due. If the actual recovery costs exceed this fixed fee, additional compensation may be claimed.
Modification of the Number of Participants
For quotations, if the actual number of participants is lower than indicated and validated in the quotation, the total price of the stay remains unchanged and fully due.
If the number of participants exceeds the planned number, the relevant campsite reserves the right to refuse additional persons.
If the campsite accepts the additional participants, they may only be accommodated after prior payment of the corresponding additional cost. The professional client remains responsible for ensuring that all participants, including additional persons, comply with contractual obligations, in accordance with Articles 1242 et seq. of the French Civil Code.
Security Deposit
A security deposit of €450 per rental accommodation is required for all stays (covering potential cleaning and damage costs). The professional client may choose one of the following methods to provide the security deposit:
· Bank authorization/hold of €450 per rental unit
· Bank transfer made at the time of sending the booking contract, before the start date of the stay, for the corresponding amount.
In case of amounts owed by the professional client (damage to accommodation, cleaning not performed, damages, etc.), Terracamps reserves the right to:
· Deduct the corresponding amount via the recorded bank hold
· Retain all or part of the bank transfer made for this purpose
House Rules
The professional client must maintain quiet and avoid noise and disruptive discussions between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
The house rules are available at each campsite. The professional client must read and comply with them.
In case of non-compliance with the rules or disturbances causing damage to the campsite, Terracamps reserves the right to deduct compensation for the damage from the security deposit or to impose sanctions, up to exclusion from the campsite.
All parties must refrain from any action that may affect the hygiene or appearance of the campsite.
Any damage caused to vegetation, fences, terrain, or campsite installations will be charged to the professional client.
Storage of materials inside rental units is prohibited.
Cleanliness of Rental Accommodation
All our rental accommodations are strictly non-smoking. The professional client undertakes not to smoke inside and to smoke only outside the accommodations.
The professional client must ensure regular maintenance of the rental unit to keep it in good condition throughout the stay.
If the cleanliness of a rental unit is deemed insufficient, the campsite reserves the right to apply an enhanced cleaning fee, which will be invoiced additionally and payable upon receipt.
It is specified that the cleaning fee does not include dishwashing, refrigerator cleaning, or garbage disposal, which remain the responsibility of the professional client.
Professional Liability Insurance
The professional client undertakes to provide, upon first request, a certificate of professional civil liability insurance.
General Terms and Sale – Groups
Preamble
These specific terms and conditions of sale (hereinafter “STCS”) aim to complement and, where applicable, derogate from the Terracamps General Terms and Conditions of Sale (“GTCS”), which the client acknowledges having read and accepted. The STCS prevail over the GTCS to account for the specificities of products and/or commercial conditions reserved for a group and for the professional purpose of the reservation.
A group is defined as a reservation made by:
1. An organization (club, association, social representative body, local authority, school group, non-profit organization, etc.);
2. For a group of individuals who are:

Hereinafter, such an entity is referred to as the “group client.”
The group client guarantees and is responsible for ensuring that the contractual obligations are respected by all individuals in the group (the “participants”).
Prices and Invoicing
Upon request, Terracamps will provide a detailed quotation. Prices indicated in the quotation are guaranteed for a period of 20 days from the date of issue.
A consolidated invoice will be issued and sent to the group client at the billing address previously confirmed with our reservation center or the relevant campsite.
Security Deposit
A security deposit of €350 per rental accommodation is required for all stays (covering potential cleaning and damage costs). The group client may choose one of the following methods to provide the security deposit:
· Bank authorization/hold of €350 per rental unit
· Bank transfer made upon returning the contract, before the start date of the stay, for the corresponding amount.

House Rules
The group client must maintain quiet and avoid noise and disruptive discussions between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
The house rules are available at each campsite. The group client must read and comply with them.
Any damage caused to vegetation, fences, terrain, or campsite installations will be charged to the group client.
Supervision of Minors
In the presence of minors, a responsible adult must be present in each rental unit. This adult assumes full responsibility for supervising the minors.
No exception to this rule will be allowed unless expressly agreed in writing with Terracamps.
Cleanliness of Rental Accommodation
All our rental accommodations are strictly non-smoking. The group client undertakes not to smoke inside and to smoke only outside the accommodations.
The group client must ensure regular maintenance of the rental unit to keep it in good condition throughout the stay.
If the cleanliness of a rental unit is deemed insufficient, the campsite reserves the right to apply an enhanced cleaning fee, which will be invoiced additionally and payable upon receipt.
It is specified that the cleaning fee does not include dishwashing, refrigerator cleaning, or garbage disposal, which remain the responsibility of the group client.
Liability Insurance
The group client undertakes to provide, upon first request, a certificate of civil liability insurance.
