HIRE OF CAMPING PITCHES AND HOLIDAY HOMES
.These terms and conditions govern all sales of holidays booked by phone, post or on-line. They are an integral part of any contract signed between the campsite and its customers.
.Bookings can be made by post, email or phone. Your request will be registered and a booking summary will be sent to you. It must be completed and sent back to us with a deposit amounting to 30% of the total cost of your stay, along with the fee for the cancellation & interruption of stay insurance, if applicable, within 72 hours. The person making the booking must be at least 18 years old, be legally authorised to enter into a contract in accordance with these terms and conditions and guarantee the veracity and accuracy of the information provided. This person must also be a one of the participants of the holiday. The contract cannot be transferred to another person. Bookings which include minors unaccompanied by their legal guardian (mother or father) will be refused. Our holiday homes and pitches are destined for families. Priority will therefore be given to family bookings.
.Upon receipt of your deposit, you will receive confirmation by letter or email which confirm the booking and dates of your holiday. The balance is to be paid 30 days before your arrival at the latest. If the balance is not received within the specified time delay (even without a reminder), the booking will be cancelled and the deposit will be retained by the campsite. Your holiday can be paid for by French cheque, credit card, bank transfer, cash, or ANCV holiday vouchers, one month before the scheduled arrival date. The customer may pay for his holiday in several instalments if he wishes (excluding the deposit and insurance fee). The campsite only accepts interest-free instalments if there are several months between the booking date and the date the balance is to be paid. This clause does not change the fact that the balance must be paid in full 30 days before the scheduled arrival date. The customer must contact the campsite to draw up a repayment schedule. If you pay with ANCV holiday vouchers, only those with the top stub still attached will be accepted. Failing this, the cheques will be sent back to you. As it is not compulsory to give change on holiday vouchers, no refunds will be given in the event of overpayment. For bookings made less than 30 days before the start of the holiday, the balance is to be paid in full when you book. Due to the number of outstanding debts, payment by cheque will not be accepted less than 30 days before your arrival.
.Your holiday rental is for a fixed period which can only be changed subject to availability, at no extra cost.
.The campsite must be informed of any cancellations in writing (letter, recorded delivery, email). In the event of cancellation the campsite will retain: 60 days or more before the scheduled arrival date, 30% of total cost of the holiday ; between 30 and 60 days before the scheduled arrival date, 50% of the total cost of the holiday ; any later than this, the campsite will retain the total cost of the holiday. As a precaution, you can opt for a cancellation and interruption of stay insurance when you book. Information about the cancellation insurance and exclusions can be downloaded on our website.
.Check-in / Check-out : For rentals, check-in from 5pm on the first day of your holiday and check-out before 10am on the last day of your holiday. For camping pitches, check-in from 1pm on the first day of your holiday and check-out before midday on the last day of your holiday. No refunds or reductions will be given in the event of a shortened holiday (late arrival or early departure). Check-in is possible when the reception office is closed if you inform the reception staff by phone before 6pm on your arrival day. If you plan on arriving on a different day than the one stipulated in the contract, you must inform the campsite in writing (letter, recorded delivery, email). If we do not receive any information to this effect, the camping pitch or holiday home will be rented to another customer the next day at midday. Please note that the campsite is closed to vehicles after 11pm.
.For insurance and safety reasons, the maximum capacity of the holiday rentals (2/3, 4, 4/5, 6, or 6/8 persons) and pitches (6 persons) is firm and definite. No additional people (including young children) will be authorised.
.Camping pitches may be booked for a minimum of three nights throughout the season; holiday homes may be booked for a minimum of 3 nights in the low season and 7 nights in the high season. Arrival days and price rates can be consulted on the price list. Included in the rental price : water, electricity, gas and access to play areas and activities. Any special offers may not be combined with another offer.
.A 200 € security deposit is to be paid on arrival to cover any damage that may be caused during your stay. This deposit will be returned to customers on departure, following an inventory check. If the inventory check cannot be carried out during reception opening hours, the manager or his representative will carry the check out himself. The deposit will be sent to you by post or destroyed under 10 days after your departure unless any damage has been noted. Smoking is prohibited in the holiday homes and the fridge must be defrosted before departure. If a scent of cigarette is to be smelled during the check out, an extra charge of 100€ will be taken on the deposit in addition to the cost of the end of stay cleaning service. Beds and blankets must be covered with sheets. You can rent bed sheets at the reception desk with extra cost. If a blanket is dirty at the moment of the check out (animal hairs, stain, smell, etc.) then a cost of 15€ cleaning service will be charged per dirty blanket. The holiday home must be left in the same state of cleanliness as on arrival. Failing this, a fixed rate of 100€ will be charged for cleaning. Deposits paid in cash can only be returned to customers during reception opening hours. If customers wish to vacate their mobile home before the reception is open, they must pay the deposit by credit card or cheque.
.Any additional vehicles or trailers must be parked on the car park outside the campsite grounds. If the pitch is big enough, an additional vehicle may be parked on the pitch, but you will be charged a fee for an additional vehicle.
11. Electric vehicles cannot be loaded on the camping pitches' plugs or on the accommodations' plugs. As these plugs are not made for loading electric vehicles they can severely damage your vehicles' batteries.
