PREAMBLE
The conditions governing the activities related to the organization and sale of trips or stays are determined by the Tourism Code, particularly Articles L. 211-1 and following of said Code. The purpose of these general terms and conditions of sale is to regulate the contractual relations regarding the sale of individual stays between the company CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ LE VERDON and its customers, setting out their respective obligations.
The fact that CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ LE VERDON does not invoke one or several provisions of these general terms and conditions cannot be considered as a waiver.
Any booking implies the customer's unconditional acceptance of the general terms and conditions, which prevail over any other document. Unless there is a prior written agreement from CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ LE VERDON, these terms apply to all customers. Any document other than the general terms and conditions of sale, including catalogs, brochures, advertisements, and notices, is purely for informational purposes.
SERVICES, BOOKINGS, PRICES
1 – BOOKING AND PAYMENT FOR STAYS
The components of the services provided during our stays are defined on our website www.campingsliberte.com.
The customer has access to the online catalog or a paper brochure, or can ask our booking agents on-site, by phone, or electronically to explain our services. The customer selects the services they wish to book on the day of the reservation. The customer acknowledges having reviewed the content of the services, the destination, and the booking procedures, as well as all the characteristics of the stays and accommodations. They acknowledge having requested and received all the necessary information to make an informed booking. The customer is responsible for their choice of booking and its suitability for their needs, so the responsibility of CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ LE VERDON cannot be held.
The booking is considered accepted by the customer once the booking process is completed. The booking process ends with the payment of the deposit by CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ LE VERDON.
The reservation becomes effective only after the camping's approval, upon receipt of the deposit, and after either the booking contract is duly completed and signed, or the general terms and conditions are accepted during online booking.
Bookings are binding on CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ LE VERDON only if they have been accepted by the camping, which is free to do so or refuse, depending on availability, and generally on any circumstances that might hinder the execution of the booking.
In particular, CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ LE VERDON offers stays with a family-oriented vocation, in the traditional sense, with accommodations specifically designed for this purpose. Therefore, CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ LE VERDON reserves the right to refuse any booking that contradicts this principle or seeks to bypass it.
Subject to availability on the desired dates, you can book a stay according to the conditions announced on page 1.
Your booking request must be accompanied by a deposit of 30% of the total price of the stay (for rental and camping site bookings) and must be sent within a maximum of 7 days from the booking date. Your booking will only become definitive once we receive your deposit. The balance of the price must be paid at least 30 days before your arrival date. Thus:
*** For bookings made more than 30 days before the start of the stay: a deposit must be paid upon booking at the campsite. The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of the stay.
*** For bookings made less than 30 days before the start of the stay: full payment must be made at the time of booking at the campsite.
WARNING: If we have not received your deposit or balance payment by these deadlines, we will consider your booking as canceled and will make the corresponding services available for resale. Additionally, the cancellation conditions will apply.
Upon receipt of your deposit, a booking confirmation will be sent to you, indicating the remaining balance to be paid.
For rental stays, and for safety reasons, the number of people arriving for the stay cannot exceed the capacity of the assigned accommodation and the number of people listed in the contract.
WARNING: Any shortened, interrupted, or shortened stay (late arrival, early departure) or unused service cannot be refunded.
2 – PAYMENT METHODS FOR THE STAY
You can pay for your stay, accompanied by the booking voucher, by bank checks or vacation vouchers: The company CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ LE VERDON is authorized by the National Agency for Vacation Vouchers, so you can use them for all your stays. We recommend sending your checks by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt. Checks that are not sent by registered mail and not received by CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ LE VERDON are the customer's responsibility. They are valid for their nominal value up to the amount due for your stay, at the latest when paying the balance.
3 – PRICES
3.1 – Prices and Tourist Taxes
The prices for all our stays, accommodations, and additional services are available on our website. The prices are determined by accommodation category and type and are quoted in euros. CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ LE VERDON cannot be held responsible for exchange rate fluctuations.
The prices indicated are valid for the current year.
Our inclusive taxes (TTC) prices are subject to change in case of an increase in the tax rates to which our stays are subject.
Prices are dynamic and evolve throughout the season. CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ LE VERDON cannot be held responsible for any cost differences between two booked stays.
3.2 – Discounts – Promotional Offers
If you are eligible for a discount as part of a promotional offer, you must apply for it at the time of booking. Promotional offers are subject to availability and certain conditions. Additionally, discounts or promotional offers cannot be combined with each other. Once the confirmation or invoice is issued, the customer cannot apply any further discounts.
4 – MODIFICATION OF THE BOOKING
4.1 – Modification of Your Booking
Changes to your booking can be made without charge up to 30 days before your initial arrival date, subject to availability. We ask you to notify us promptly in writing or by email. Any modification request can only be accepted based on availability at the current rate.
WARNING: In the absence of an explicit modification request (in writing or by email) and the indication of a new arrival date, the accommodation may be made available for resale 24 hours after the arrival date mentioned in the contract, and you will lose the benefit of your booking and the amount paid.
4.2 – Modification by CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ LE VERDON
If, before departure, an essential aspect of the stay becomes impossible due to an unforeseen event, an unavoidable event, a third party not involved in providing the contracted services, or a case of force majeure, we will inform you immediately. You will then have the option to either cancel the stay or accept the proposed modification. You must notify us of your choice within 72 hours (cancellation will result in an immediate refund of the full amount paid, while acceptance will lead to the refund of any overpayment, if applicable). It is specified that no compensation will be provided under these circumstances.
5 – CANCELLATION OF THE BOOKING
5.1 – Cancellation by the Customer
In the event of cancellation, we ask you to notify us promptly in writing or by email. Any cancellation request must also be confirmed to CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ LE VERDON in writing or by email.
The deposit paid at the time of booking will not be refunded.
5.1.1 – Cancellation Insurance
This insurance is offered as an additional option for a stay in outdoor hospitality and aims to protect the customer before the start of the stay: if they need to cancel their stay or in the case of a late arrival, during the stay in the case of interruption, vehicle breakdown, assistance, veterinary expenses, and after the stay in case of forgotten personal items at the site.

In the event of a cancellation by CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ LE VERDON due to force majeure (as defined in Article 1148 of the Civil Code), only an immediate refund of the amounts paid will be made, excluding any other compensation.
YOUR STAY
1: TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF STAY
The reservation of a camping pitch or rental accommodation is strictly personal. You cannot sublet or transfer your reservation without prior consent from the campsite. Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
1.1: Camping Pitch
The basic rate includes the pitch for a tent, caravan, or motorhome, one car, and 1 or 2 persons, along with access to the campsite facilities. The pitch is available from 3:00 PM on the arrival day. It must be vacated before 12:00 PM on the departure day. However, in the case of early arrival, all efforts will be made to reduce waiting time.
1.2: Rental Accommodation
Rental accommodations are equipped. The basic package is for 1 to 7 persons, depending on the type of accommodation. CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ LE VERDON reserves the right to refuse access to the campsite for groups or families if the number of participants exceeds the capacity of the rented accommodation.
2 - ARRIVAL
2.1: Key Handover
Arrival days may vary depending on the period. On the day of your arrival at CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ LE VERDON, rental accommodations will be available from 4:00 PM. However, in case of early arrival and depending on availability, all efforts will be made to reduce the waiting time.
2.2: Deposit
A security deposit of 250 euros is required upon arrival. It is to be paid by credit card or check. This deposit will be refunded to the client on the day of departure after a complete check (inventory) of the accommodation. The management reserves the right to retain all or part of the deposit in case of non-compliance with hygiene standards and/or damage to the rented equipment. If the tenant's departure occurs outside reception hours, the accommodation will be inspected later, and the deposit will be returned by mail. The retention of the deposit does not exclude additional compensation if the expenses exceed the amount of the deposit.
3 - DURING YOUR STAY
3.1: Internal Regulations
An internal regulation is displayed within the campsite. We ask you to familiarize yourself with it and comply with it. All clients must adhere to the provisions of the internal regulations. Each tenant is responsible for any disturbances or nuisances caused by persons staying with them or visiting.
3.2: Losses, Theft, Damage
CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ LE VERDON cannot be held responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings in our residences, whether in the accommodations, parking areas, or common areas. CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ LE VERDON also declines all responsibility in case of theft, fire, weather conditions, etc., or any incident for which the vacationer would be civilly responsible. We also disclaim any responsibility for valuables, effects, and personal items of the tenant. We recommend contacting your insurance company to obtain an extension of your personal coverage if necessary.
3.3: Pets
Domestic animals (except dogs of 1st and 2nd categories) are allowed in the campsite and in the specified rental accommodations. They must be constantly monitored and kept on a leash by their owner during the stay. Any failure to comply with hygiene or safety requirements caused by the animal may result in the expulsion of its owners. The vaccination record for dogs and cats must be up to date.
4 - DEPARTURE
On the day of departure indicated in your contract, the rental accommodation must be vacated by 10:00 AM. The accommodation must be returned in perfect condition, and the inventory may be checked. Any broken or damaged items will be charged to you, as well as the restoration of the premises if necessary. The deposit will be refunded at the end of the stay, less any deductions for damage identified during the check-out inspection. The retention of the deposit does not exclude further compensation if the costs exceed the amount of the deposit. If the accommodation has not been cleaned before your departure, a cleaning fee will be charged (according to the applicable cleaning fee rate). For any delayed departure, an additional day may be charged at the current nightly rate.
5 - IMAGE RIGHTS
By accepting these terms and conditions, the client expressly and gratuitously authorizes CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ LE VERDON to photograph or film them during their stay and use these photos, videos, or sounds on all media for a period of 5 years. This authorization also applies to all persons staying with the client. Its purpose is to promote CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ nationally and internationally on its websites, brochures, social networks, and commercial presentations or tourist guides.
6 - PROPERTY IMAGE RIGHTS
It is strictly prohibited to take photos or videos for professional or commercial purposes within our establishment, including, but not limited to, photo shoots, video shoots, and advertising shoots. Any image capture intended for public or promotional distribution is subject to prior written authorization from management.
Failure to comply with this prohibition may result in the immediate expulsion of the offenders without refund and possible legal action.
OTHER CONDITIONS
1 – CLAIMS
Our clients have access to a claims mechanism to report any dissatisfaction regarding the course of their stay. To file a claim, the client may contact us by mail, email, or through our post-stay satisfaction surveys. During the stay, our reception teams are available to consider any claims. Claims may relate to the conformity of the accommodation with the reservation or the conformity of services with the client's expectations. The management commits to responding in detail to any written claim, provided it is not anonymous. If the client expects compensation for their claim, it must be submitted by email and mail to the campsite manager within one month of the stay, including the booking number.
2 – RESPONSIBILITY
In accordance with Article L.212-1 of the Consumer Code, CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ ensures that its services comply with applicable regulations. The client expressly acknowledges that CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ cannot be held responsible for false information communicated by its partners or third parties regarding the reception sites, particularly photos, descriptions, activities, leisure, services, and operating dates. All photos and texts used in the brochure or on the CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ website are non-contractual and for informational purposes only.
It may occur that certain activities or facilities offered by the campsite and listed in the brochure are removed, especially due to weather conditions or force majeure, as defined by French courts.
CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ LE VERDON is responsible for the proper execution of all obligations under the contract. However, the company will be exempt from responsibility in cases where the failure to perform or improper performance of the contract is due to the client, a third party unrelated to the provision of the agreed services, or force majeure as defined in Article 1148 of the Civil Code.
3 – DISPUTES
Any claim regarding the non-compliance of services with contractual commitments must first be communicated by email and mail to the campsite manager. The Client and CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ LE VERDON expressly acknowledge that their relationship is governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, jurisdiction is granted to the competent courts.
4 – PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
The information you provide during your booking will not be shared with any third party. These details will be considered confidential by CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ and will only be used by the internal services of CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ for processing your order and personalizing communication and service offerings based on your interests. In accordance with the Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, you have the right to access, correct, and oppose the processing of your personal data. To exercise this right, please contact us by mail, providing your name, surname, and camping address.
5 – CONSUMER DISPUTE MEDIATION
In accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Code regarding the consumer dispute mediation process, the client has the right to resort free of charge to the mediation service offered by CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ LE VERDON. The proposed consumer rights mediator is the Centre de la Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de Justice.

SPECIFIC TERMS RELATING TO ONLINE BOOKINGS
1 – TECHNICAL DETAILS ON ONLINE BOOKING PROCEDURES
As previously stated, the client has the option to book their stay online at www.campingsliberte.com. In addition to the full application of the previous clauses of these terms and conditions for any reservation, whatever its form, here are the technical details for online booking. The client selects their reservation online based on availability and applicable pricing. The client may also choose certain optional services. This online booking is done in several steps that allow the client to ensure the selected stay matches their expectations and make any changes before final confirmation.
Once confirmed, the reservation will be finalized, and the client agrees to these terms and conditions before proceeding with the secure payment of the required deposit. After completing these steps, CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ LE VERDON will confirm the reservation by email, which also refers to these terms and conditions. The reservation is considered final when the client receives the email from CAMPINGS LIBERTÉ LE VERDON confirming the booking. This confirmation constitutes the conclusion of the sales contract and acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2 – ONLINE PAYMENT AND SECURITY OF TRANSACTIONS
It is reminded that: – a deposit is required when booking your stay online, – the balance of your stay will be charged 30 days before your arrival. Payment is made online by credit card (Visa, Blue Card, American Express, MasterCard only) and is secure. All necessary measures are taken to ensure the confidentiality and security of the data transmitted over the web. To this end, the website uses an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) payment module to encrypt information, ensuring that no third party can access it.
