1-General rules
All campers undertake to comply with the campsite rules and regulations which are provided to them and which are also displayed at the reception desk. Any reservation implies the knowledge of the description of the objects and the tariff as well as the acceptance of all the general conditions of sale and the internal regulations. All prices are inclusive of VAT at the rate of 10% applicable on the day they were determined. Any subsequent change in the applicable VAT rate between the time the rates were determined and the invoice for the stay will result in a corresponding change in the price including VAT, which the client accepts without reservation. The management reserves the right to expel without notice or reimbursement any person who fails to respect the rules. Each rental contract is nominative, it cannot be transferred, sold or offered to a third party. The signatory of the contract must be of legal age and is responsible for the persons staying with him/her. In the event of problems encountered by the management with one of the occupants of the plot, the person in charge will have to take measures in the event of a call to order and/or eviction. Only the persons mentioned on the contract will be accepted on the pitch. In case of modification, the person in charge of the stay must inform the management as soon as possible. This change may lead to a change in price.
2-Bookings
To reserve a pitch or rental accommodation, the camper must have a reservation form; either received by post or downloaded from the website. Before returning the contract, the camper must be aware of the availability of accommodation. An option can be placed from 1 to 14 days depending on the season and the type of request. It becomes definitive as soon as the deposit is received. The amount of the deposit corresponds to 25% of the cost of the stay + cancellation insurance (optional but recommended). It is also possible to book online via our website www.campingduvieuxchateau.com. Payment methods accepted: Credit card, Cheque, Holiday vouchers, Cash, Bank transfer.
3-Rental accommodation
The balance of the stay is payable 30 days before the beginning of the stay. Deposit required on arrival: 300 € for the respect of the accommodation and cleanliness. Deposit payable by credit card only. It will be cancelled according to the state assessed by the management (tidiness, cleanliness, breakage...) A detailed inventory is given on each arrival. The accommodation is rented from 4pm to 10am. If the mobile home is not vacated by 10am, without the agreement of the management, 1 extra night will be charged.
4-Settlement
Campers wishing to settle on the camp must go to the reception desk to read the present regulations and complete the formalities. On the day of arrival, before checking in, any camper may inspect the site and the pitch offered by the camp manager. Pitches are rented from 2pm to 12am. The tent, caravan, camper van and all ancillary equipment must be set up on the pitch indicated, respecting the boundaries of the pitch and in accordance with the manager's instructions. The vehicle must be parked on the same pitch. A maximum of 6 persons and 1 vehicle can be accommodated on a pitch. The manager may, depending on circumstances and service requirements, have campers moved to other pitches, but only in exceptional cases. The campers will have to pay their stay at their arrival of the sum corresponding to the time of the stay envisaged according to the tariff posted at the entry. In the event of an extension of the initially planned stay, the user must inform the manager of his intention 24 hours in advance and pay for the additional days of stay, subject to availability. Campers staying for one night must pay at the time of registration. The nights are counted from noon to noon. If the campsite is not vacated by 12.00 noon, without the agreement of the management, 1 extra night will be charged.
5-Arrival and departure
For any late departure, you may be charged an extra night at the current rate. If the holidaymaker does not arrive on the day mentioned on the booking form, and if he does not inform the management, the pitch or the rental will be kept for 24 hours. After this period, the management reserves the right to allocate the pitch or rental to another holidaymaker. The management is entitled to claim the balance of the stay if the holidaymaker does not give notice. In case of early departure, the holidaymaker will not be entitled to a refund of the balance. Any early arrival (in terms of days or times) exposes the holidaymaker to not being able to occupy the reserved installation, except with the prior agreement of the management according to availability.
6-Cancellation insurance NEAT
We offer you to subscribe to a cancellation and interruption insurance which allows you to be reimbursed if you have to cancel or interrupt your stay. It is not compulsory to take out this insurance, it is an option for those who wish to do so. The full cancellation policy is available on request or online at NEAT. The Campsite Cover insurance must be taken out and paid for at the time of booking and is valid for the persons listed on the booking contract. The insurance premium is non-refundable. It costs 5% of the price of the stay (excluding tourist tax). All bookings are due and no refund will be made if the insurance has not been taken out.
7-Cancellation by the campsite
In the event of cancellation of a stay for reasons for which we are responsible, with the exception of cases of force majeure leading us to cancel for reasons of safety of the participants, the client will be reimbursed all sums paid.
8-Cancellation and cancellation fees
Cancellation without insurance :
In the absence of cancellation insurance or in the event that this is not taken out, deductions will be made from the sums already paid or due in accordance with the following procedures:
- More than 60 days before the start of the stay: 30€.
- Between 30 and 60 days before the start of the holiday: 25% of the cost of the holiday
- Less than 30 days before the start of the holiday: 100% of the cost of the holiday
9- Liability insurance
You must have taken out civil liability insurance in order to be properly compensated in the event of damage caused or suffered during your holiday, whether it concerns your vehicle, your trailer or your caravan (coupled or uncoupled) and its contents, your rental liability linked to the accommodation and its contents, your equipment and personal property or damage caused by yourself or your employees to a property or to a third party. The Vieux Château campsite declines all responsibility in the event of theft, loss or damage of any kind (vehicle or other) during or following a stay, as well as in the event of breakdown or disabling of technical equipment, provided that its responsibility is not engaged and recognised by a competent court. It is therefore essential to ask your insurer for a holiday extension to your comprehensive insurance policy
10-Dispute
In the event of a dispute, and after having contacted the establishment's customer service, by post or by e-mail at campingduvieuxchateau@gmail.com. Any customer of the campsite may refer the matter to a consumer ombudsman within a maximum of one year from the date of the complaint made to the operator by registered letter. Mediation of consumer disputes:
In accordance with Order No. 2015-1033 of 20 August 2015, relating to the extra-judicial settlement of consumer disputes, those of the implementing decree No. 2015-1382 of 30 October 2015 relating to the mediation of consumer disputes, amended by Order No. 2016-301 of 14 March 2016, in its article 612-1 and by the application decree n° 2016-884 of 29 June 2016, any consumer has the right to have recourse free of charge to a consumer mediator, with a view to the amicable resolution of the dispute which opposes him/her to a professional, as soon as the dispute related to consumption could not be settled amicably and directly with the professional. To this end, the Camping du vieux Château guarantees the consumer effective recourse to a consumer mediation system. The consumer mediation body designated by the Camping du vieux Château is: Sas Médiation. In the absence of an amicable solution, all information on the services of the campsite and information on the sports facilities, tourist attractions and various useful addresses.
11-Reception Office-Royalty
The reception office is open according to the posted opening hours. These hours will vary according to the season and the number of visitors to the campsite. It provides information about the campsite's services, sports facilities, tourist attractions and other useful addresses.
