Description
Camping le Chassiron*** takes its name from the northern tip of the island of Oléron, formerly called “the end of the world”. It is located a stone's throw from the famous lighthouse and a step from the cliffs of the wild coast, in the heart of the site classified as a National Natural Heritage Site. Here nature is preserved, only the birds and the murmur of the ocean disturb the calm that reigns there.
In this very special context, Camping le Chassiron invites you to reconnect with the elements, the fauna, the flora, or quite naturally with yourself...
Of modest size (only 40 pitches), on more than one hectare, Le Chassiron campsite offers you a remarkable landscaped park, space to breathe and take full advantage of its exceptional setting. Tree-lined and shaded, it offers bare pitches for tents, caravans or motorhomes, and rental accommodation. Forget the standardized PVC mobile homes, we only offer handcrafted caravans or tiny houses, with simple comfort, incomparable charm, and above all, which smell of wood.
The serenity of the place being incompatible with noisy activities, you will not be offered any foam party with DJ, any aperitif game with animation on the microphone, any Zumba gym fitness class with sound system, any concentration of bikers or tuning with roaring engines, nothing of that.
